A Little About Me

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by nature’s beauty, which sparked my lifelong appreciation for the world around me. My travels across the globe have introduced me to countless breathtaking sights, and photography became my way of preserving those moments.

After serving 10 years in the Navy, I found myself searching for a new path. That’s when I picked up a camera and began capturing the incredible places I encountered. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. I fell in love with photographing birds and landscapes, and when I transitioned out of the military, I decided to pursue photography full-time.

Enrolling in college for photography deepened my skills and expanded my interests. I discovered a new love for portraiture and the joy of seeing people’s reactions to professional photos that truly capture their essence. Over time, I also ventured into product photography, elevating the craft with my eye for detail—particularly when it comes to showcasing a good cigar.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have my beautiful wife as my biggest supporter and occasional model. Her encouragement gave me the courage to follow my dreams and embrace this career change in my 30s.
